Nellie’s Candystripped Afternoon Gown

You will never forget the first time you wear this gown, and neither will anyone else. Whimsical and high bred at the same time, it is a gown that Victorian fantasies are made of. A square neckline starts the show off, followed by a thick row of white Venice lace and a bright red insert for the boned bodice. Long shapely sleeves are flared at each wrist, perfect for twirling a parasol. The first ruffle is found at the back for a bustled look, and sweeps around to wrap the waist in a point at the front. The next row of ruffles extends low in the back, with the option to be bustled with twill ties underneath.
